Notably, the Arkansas State Police maintains a separate law enforcement record, called Criminal History Record Information (CHRI), under Ark. Code Ann. § 12-12-1001 et seq. CHRI aggregates statewide arrest and conviction information and differs from the raw arrest logs maintained by local law enforcement. Such records are open only to the subject of the record and to persons/entities with the subject's signed, written consent.

Active Warrant Search in Faulkner County

A judicial officer (circuit/district court judge or magistrate) in Faulkner County has a duty under the AR Code § 16-81-104 to issue an arrest warrant when reasonable grounds exist to believe that a person has committed an offense. The arrest warrant contains

However, anyone seeking free arrest information on inmates released from the Center within the last 48 hours should use the inmate release portal. Users may search by name, date, or scroll through the inmate list to locate a record.

Free arrest records portals are limited because they do not provide access to older or expunged arrest records. Also, they may occasionally show errors or incomplete information. 

Faulkner County Arrest Report

Meanwhile, the former are the complete narrative files of the encounter. Under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, initial narrative arrest reports and arrest records are generally accessible to the public. However, records and reports tied to active or undisclosed law enforcement investigations are exempt from public disclosure.

How to Get an Arrest Record Expunged in Faulkner County

In Faulkner County, expungement is synonymous with sealing. Expungement is not the physical destruction of arrest records, but rather it means making records inaccessible to the public (A.C.A. § 16-90-1404). Anyone interested in expunging their arrest records must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Arkansas Comprehensive Criminal Record Sealing Act.

File the completed forms with the Faulkner County District or Circuit Court. 

Upon receiving their petition, the court clerk will send a copy to the prosecutor and the arresting agency. These officials have 30 days to respond to the expungement application. The court may grant the expungement request without a hearing if no response is received during the time frame. The judge will enter and sign an order of expungement if they approve the request, and a copy of the order will be sent to all involved criminal justice agencies.

How Do You Remove Faulkner County Arrest Records From the Internet?
